COMMUNITY MEASUREMENT

Proof of Civilization

See how your community participated in a World: who played, who returned, who voted and who took action.

PROOF OF CIVILIZATION

Measure how a community shows up.

A Proof Trial uses a frozen cohort of wallet-linked, server-verified accounts and World events generated during a published measurement window. Paying for a Trial never changes its score.

EXAMPLE · ILLUSTRATIVE DATA

What would a Trial tell you?

A community starts with 20 verified accounts. During a seven-day Trial, 12 take part, 9 vote and 8 complete a qualifying mission or initiate an attack.

60%Participation · 12 of 20
66.7%Consistency · 6 active on 3 days, 6 on 1 day; target 3 days
75%Coordination · 9 of 12
66.7%Mobilization · 8 of 12

Illustrative index: 67 / 100. This is a worked example, not a published Trial, achievement or token rating.

  1. Agree the community, cohort and measurement window.
  2. Play normally while server-recorded activity is measured.
  3. After the deadline, review and freeze the report, then share its public record.
METHOD v3

Four measures with separate jobs.

Four percentages produce one index from 0 to 100. The cohort is fixed when the Trial is set up; activity is measured only inside the linked World and published window.

30%

Participation

Active accounts divided by the frozen verified cohort. Community size alone does not increase the score.

25%

Consistency

For each active account, divide its distinct active UTC days by the target days, capped at 100%. Consistency is the average of those account results.

25%

Coordination

Active accounts with at least one recorded Council, governance, Founding or battle vote, divided by all active accounts. Multiple votes by one account do not increase its share.

20%

Mobilization

Active accounts with at least one recorded Supply, Signal or Frontline mission event, or attack declaration, divided by all active accounts. Voting alone does not count.

Exact calculation & sample rules

Index = round(0.30 × Participation + 0.25 × Consistency + 0.25 × Coordination + 0.20 × Mobilization). Calculations use unrounded pillar values; displayed percentages are rounded to one decimal.

An active account has at least one server-recorded World event in the cohort, Coinlization, linked World and measurement window. Events outside that window and accounts outside the frozen cohort are excluded.

Consistency target: window days = floor(elapsed seconds / 86,400) + 1; target = ceil(window days × 0.35), with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 days. Active days are distinct UTC dates. No active accounts means all pillars and the index are zero.

Sample threshold: currently 10 verified cohort accounts for an official-sized sample. Smaller cohorts are labelled insufficient sample; their numbers are descriptive. The threshold alone does not guarantee a representative community sample.

A Trial measures one World. Compare records with the same method, similar windows and cohort rules. A record hash identifies the exported data; it is not independent attestation or an on-chain certificate.

VERIFICATION BOUNDARY

“Verified” means wallet-linked accounts that the CivCoin World server has verified under its account/wallet rules. It does not claim KYC, proof-of-personhood or Sybil resistance.

PROOF TRIALS

Every completed Trial becomes a record.

Trial ID, measurement window, frozen cohort, method version, raw counts, pillar scores and a deterministic SHA-256 record hash are published together. Completed records can also be downloaded as JSON.

No public Proof Trials yet.

Nothing is presented as measured until a real cohort and published window exist.

SEPARATE SYSTEM

World Pacts are commitments, not Proof scores.

Sponsor or project commitments live on their own page. They can use a measurable World target, but they do not change Proof methodology or scores.

OPEN WORLD PACTS
COMMERCIAL RULE

Pay for measurement, never for the result.

A service fee can fund cohort setup, measurement, verification and reporting. It cannot add participants, actions, score, Legacy or gameplay power.
